Laila Ali has signed on as the new host for season seven of the DIY series, Home Made Simple, on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
The Daytime Emmy award-winning show connects viewers with simple solutions to everyday living including – easy DIY projects, recipes and dramatic home makeovers pairing inspiring families with a makeover team of professionals to transform home challenges and dilemmas.
“I am thrilled to join the OWN family as the new host of ‘Home Made Simple,’” said Laila Ali. “Being able to merge my passion for cooking with my longtime love of interior design and the desire I have to help families, all on a network created by Oprah Winfrey, a woman I have always admired, is truly an honor.”
Ali will continue the premise of the show, working alongside families on transformation projects while bringing inspiring stories to the screen. The four-time boxing world champion and youngest daughter of Muhammad Ali is also a noted author, cooking enthusiast and lifestyle expert.
Home Made Simple returns with its new host on Saturday, November 4 on OWN.
